Unit 3 Visual Glossary Overview
In unit 3, we started to go really in depth with triangles and their properties. We learned about: a myriad of ways to prove their congruence, the different types of triangles, the different parts of triangles, and the centers of triangles.
With this new knowledge, came new vocabulary. Terms, used frequently when describing these triangles. I personally handpicked a few vocabulary that are essential to this unit. Yet, the words I chose still cover a broad range of things. They explain triangle congruence, special lines and angles, properties of triangles, the proof of triangles and more!
Now why did I choose these specific words? Well, because each term is part of a larger ecosystem of meaning. I chose words which stood out to me, as frequently used, had a significant importance to the understanding of triangles, or are a necessity when proving answers.. Still, I didn't choose many words that are under the same topic for that would create a redundant glossary.
