In this lesson we learned about the triangle inequality theorem and the triangle hinge theorem.
The triangle inequality theorem states that the sum of any two sides is greater than the third side.
We also learned that the longest side of a triangle is opposite the largest angle and that the shortest side is opposite the smallest angle.
The triangle hinge theorem states that if two sides of one triangle are congruent to two sides of another triangle and the included angles are not congruent, then the longer third side is opposite the larger included angle.
