In this lesson we learned about radicals. A radical expression is any expression that contains a radical sign. A radicand is the expression under the radical sign.
The theorem that we learned about were the product property of square roots and the quotient property of square roots.
The product property of square roots states that for any positive real numbers a and b, the square root of ab is equal to the square root of a times the square root of b.
The quotient property of square roots states that for any real numbers a and b , the square root of a/b is equal to the square root of a divided by the square root of b.
