Unit 2 Lesson 8
In Unit 2 Lesson 8, we learn about tessellations which is a repeating patter that covers a plane with no overlaps or gaps. There are many types of tessellations:
- Regular/ Pure Tessellation - A tessellation made out of congruent regular polygons
- Semi regular Tessellation - A tessellation created out of two or more regular polygons and has the same pattern
Tessellations must have at least one point of rotational symmetry which is known as the vertex of the tessellation.
